As we celebrated the momentous 50th anniversary of the Blue Tip Parade, Willow Tree Cupcakes had the immense pleasure of being a part of this grand occasion. This milestone year was filled with joy, nostalgia, and an overwhelming sense of community. Join me as I take you on a journey through our experience, from the 14 hours spent in the kitchen baking cupcakes to the heartfelt appreciation we have for all the volunteers and parade attendees who made this celebration truly unforgettable.

Baking for the Parade:

With excitement and anticipation, I embarked on a baking adventure that would leave a sweet imprint on the 50th anniversary of the Blue Tip Parade. For 14 hours straight, I poured our heart and soul into the kitchen, meticulously crafting 2,000 cupcakes to share with the community. The enticing aromas of Strawberry Shortcake, Cookie Butter, Chocolate, and Vanilla filled the air as I mixed, baked, and decorated each small batch with love.

Spreading Cupcake Joy from Our Float:

As the parade day arrived, our float stood adorned with pride, showcasing our delectable creations to the eager spectators lining the streets. Excitement filled the air as we embarked on this memorable journey, sharing our cupcakes with the crowd. With smiles on our faces, we handed out cupcake after cupcake, witnessing the sheer delight on the faces of those who received them. It was a testament to the joy that a simple cupcake can bring and a reflection of the incredible support we received from the community.

A Delicious Medley of Flavors:

The variety of flavors we offered on our float delighted the taste buds of parade-goers. The fruity freshness of the Strawberry Shortcake cupcakes transported them to a summer garden.
