Cream Cheese Sopapilla Bars

A family friend gave me this recipe years ago and it is now a staple in my house during the holidays. It’s SO good, you can’t have just one! Heres what you’ll need:

  • 2 packages crescent rolls

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Topping

  • 1 stick butter, melted

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Spread one package of crescent roll dough across an uncreased 9x13 pan.

  2. Beat cream cheese with one cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread mixture over dough.

  3. Spread out second package of crescent rolls and lay on top of the cream cheese mixture.

  4. mic cinnamon, melted butter, and sugar together and pour over top of dough.

  5. bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes or until lightly golden brown.

  6. cool completely before cutting. Serve at room temperature or chilled (I prefer room temp). Store extras in refrigerator.
